So… the book… I cried my eyes out. My heart is still in pieces. My husband and I were so shocked; we didn’t even know the place existed, let alone what they were doing there. The story touched me deeply.

About friendships and relationships and who you are. With characters so realistically written, you’ll see familiar faces in them, and you won’t be able to help but dive deep into the story.
Dear Anmari Your book is AMAZING! I cried when MarnĂ© told Corri’s story, when Lielie’s story unfolded, when Minette picked them up from the mission, when Tiaan climbed out of the truck, when she was reunited with Karli and Megan, when she wrote her email to her parents. I felt her anger, sadness, and frustration. Every time she doubted herself, when she was unsure about what was true and what the mission was about. The emotion practically pours off the pages. It took me about an hour just to find myself again. It’s so immersive. I can’t imagine anyone not being moved by the book. The last time I cried so much was in “Dis ek, Anna.”
