A New Season at Reading Caffeinated
Some seasons arrive loudly. Others begin with a quiet sense that something needs to change.
Reading Caffeinated has been part of my life through many books, reviews, photographs and cups of coffee. Over time, however, the things I wanted to share here began stretching beyond the pages of whatever I was currently reading. My faith became a bigger part of my everyday life. Bible study found its way into my routines. Children’s books started occupying a special corner of my reading world. And, as always, food and coffee remained part of the moments in between.
So this isn’t the end of Reading Caffeinated. It is a new season for it.
What You’ll Find Here
Going forward, Reading Caffeinated will centre around three things I genuinely love sharing: books, faith and food.
Book Reviews
Books will always belong here. You can expect honest reviews, reading recommendations, Christian and faith-based books, fiction, children’s books and the occasional title that simply deserves to be talked about.
I especially want to create more space for books for little readers. Beautiful stories can become part of family routines long before children can read for themselves, and I am excited to explore books for babies, toddlers and children up to around six years old alongside my adult reading.
Faith
Faith is no longer going to sit quietly in the background of Reading Caffeinated.
I’ll be sharing Bible study, Scripture, prayer, devotional books, resources I’ve found helpful and reflections from my own journey of learning to trust and follow God more intentionally.
This won’t be a space about having faith perfectly figured out. It will be a space for opening the Bible, asking questions, learning, growing and returning to God in ordinary everyday life.
Recipes
And then there is the kitchen.
Some of my favourite reading moments involve a cup of coffee, something comforting to eat and nowhere I urgently need to be. Recipes will become the third part of Reading Caffeinated, with approachable food, baking, drinks, easy meals and recipes that fit naturally into real life.
Expect plenty of opportunities for books and food to overlap too: reading-day recipes, coffee pairings, book-club snacks and the occasional recipe inspired by what is on my bookshelf.
Why the Change?
Because I wanted this space to feel like me again.

A blog doesn’t have to stay exactly as it was when it began. We grow. Our interests deepen. Our priorities change. Sometimes the most authentic thing we can do with something we’ve built is allow it to grow with us.
The new Reading Caffeinated is softer, slower and more intentional.
It is a place for a Bible open on the bed with highlighters scattered nearby. A children’s book being read for the tenth time. A novel waiting beside a cup of coffee. A recipe worth making again. A Scripture that meets you exactly where you are. And all the small pieces of life that happen between the pages.
I’m glad you’re here for this new chapter.
Welcome to Reading Caffeinated.
Books. Faith. Food. Life between the pages.
