With the next installment recently announced, what better time to talk about the wonderful world of Nevermoor.

Thank you to PanMacmillan SA Kids for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I’m absolutely blown away.
I finished this beautiful book and now I need more. This has become my new addiction.
We meet up with Morrigan at the start of her journey with the Wunderous arts. Meeting friends and ghostly teachers on the super secret sub level 9, Morrigan quickly learns that mastering the Wunderous Arts is no small feat. On top of that the horrendous hollowpox outbreak is threatening the existence of all Wunimals and there is nothing she can do to stop it. Or is there?
This enthralling tale had me jumping, crying, screaming and laughing as I travelled through the pages. These characters have become family, and the Hotel Deucalion is my new favorite ficitional place. And like my new favorite fictional place I’m also in a great sulk over the fact that the next book is not available yet.
Townsend creates a fantastical world with her writing. Colorful yet dark, this balance creates the most thrilling experience any young reader could hope for. Tackling tricky themes like self acceptance at a young age with this story has put this author high on my auto buy list.
If you haven’t read this magical adventure yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up today!

She and her friends are proud to be in their second year of attendance at the magical Wunderous Society, and together they can face anything.
But a strange illness has taken hold of Nevermoor, turning its peaceable Wunimals into mindless, vicious unnimals on the hunt. As victims of the Hollowpox, even if it will put her – and the rest of Nevermoor – in more danger than ever before…
If like me you start planning all things Christmas early, this is a great add to any wish list for young readers
