My love for this series is no secret. I have fallen for it since the first book and with every book I find myself more enthralled then ever before.
The Dragon and the Queen brings us back exactly where we ended after that *gasp* cliffhanger and boy is it an action packed start. As the Isles start to fall Rafe and Lyana are forced to fight battles that they’re not sure they can win and face new enemies that they are not certain how to defeat. Page to page, my heart was torn and shredded and several tears were shed as this story reveals itself.
Davis once again shows her masterful world building and story telling skills as the layers in this world is revealed. Bringing in flashbacks just added another depth to an already marvelous storyline and I am absolutely here for it.
Alas, we are once again awaiting another epic book as we face the cliffhanger ending. And I NEED ANSWERS!!!
